From June 22nd to June 25th, the prestigious French Masters Championships in Antibes witnessed the outstanding participation of four talented swimmers from the Luxembourg Sharks Swimming Club.
Frédéric Tonus, Federico Capello, Steve Serems, and François Cochet represented our club with remarkable skill and determination, leaving an indelible mark on the competition.
The relay events proved to be a display of dominance by our swimmers as they clinched both gold medals, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and coordination. Their synchronized efforts and unwavering dedication allowed them to outperform their rivals, establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the pool.

Frédéric Tonus, in particular, emerged as a standout performer, earning an astounding total of five gold medals. His unparalleled skill, relentless drive, and unwavering focus propelled him to victory in multiple events, underscoring his exceptional talent and unwavering commitment to the sport.
Steve Serems also rose to the occasion, successfully achieving a remarkable feat by securing two gold medals in his respective events. Federico Capello, although narrowly missing out on a gold medal, displayed an outstanding performance by securing the silver medal in the highly competitive 200m freestyle event. His exceptional speed, technique, and unwavering determination were evident throughout the race, solidifying his position as a highly respected competitor.
François Cochet, an integral member of our team, demonstrated his unwavering dedication to improvement by making significant strides in his personal records. Although he may not have secured an individual medal, his commitment to training and relentless pursuit of excellence played a pivotal role in the success of our relay teams. François proved to be an invaluable asset, contributing to the team's victory in the relay events and providing unwavering support to his fellow swimmers throughout the championship.
